Bio
I was raised in Colorado and have lived all over the state, giving me the chance to appreciate all of the beauty and activity Colorado has to offer! I graduated from the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and have since focused my career on working in sports medicine and with the athletic population. I have extensive training in manual therapy and manipulation, certification in functional dry needling, Pilates certification, and recently began working towards certification in Treatment of the Functional Athlete. In 2012 I was invited to try CrossFit because I was convinced it was “dangerous.” I was very skeptical, but it only took one class for me to be hooked. Now CrossFit is a part of my daily life, and I love being involved in the community! Since 2012, I have had the opportunity to visit gyms, CF while traveling, and meet amazing people both in local Colorado gyms and in several other countries. I received my CF-L1 in 2018, CF Kids certificate in 2019, and CF-L2 in 2022. I love helping, whether that’s working with someone recovering from a major injury, or improving movement to get rid of those nagging pains that happen with being active. Feel free to ask me questions or come up to chat during a workout- those are some of my favorite conversations!
Outside of the gym, I spend time with my husband, son and daughter. You will likely have a chance to talk to my daughter in the gym, when she’s there she loves making new friends! I’m also an avid mountain biker and love to snowboard, and I try to keep up with my husband on the wakeboard.
