Bio

Born and raised in Colorado, I grew up doing all the sports. My true love was gymnastics. I competed as a level 10 gymnast and had a short NCAA career. I went on to be a professional acrobat, high diver, aerialist, gymnast and more for over 10 years. While training for a show I broke my back and both my feet and ankles and suffered a spinal cord injury. While the feeling in my legs returned, I was told I’d never function the same. After multiple surgeries, medication and treatment, I was told I had reached my maximum healing potential yet I was miserable and suffering in pain. Something in me knew that I needed to move and get strong so I started CrossFit in 2010. Slowly, I got stronger and with time, the pain started to go away and I found myself again. What CrossFit gave me is what I want to share with others. I’ve coached gymnastics and CrossFit combined for over 20 years. I find great joy in seeing people accomplish things they didn’t think possible. Outside of the gym, I’m married with two young daughters. For fun, I dream of them getting along and playing together nicely while I enjoy a glass of wine. Maybe someday… Fun fact about me, I met my husband while we were both working at Casa Bonita as cliff divers. We traveled around the state finding cliff diving spots which he wrote and published a book about.
